Dr. Abhay K. Pande has an experience of over 37 years as a consultant interventional cardiologist. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Nagpur, India. In 1992, he completed his MD in interventional cardiology from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. At the same time, he received extensive training in coronary angioplasty and cardiac intervention from the University of Geneva. He has also completed his FACC, FESC, and FSCAI from the United States of America. Soon after this, he started working with Montreal Heart Institute, Montreal where earned a Fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Abhay K. Pande specializes in interventional cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterization and angiography, coronary and non-coronary cardiac interventions, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantations (single and double chambers), and non-invasive cardiac procedures like echocardiography, stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and ECG Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BPM. From the year 2002, he has set up his own private cath lab in UAE and since then has conducted more than 30,000 coronary interventions. He has worked as a consultant cardiologist at the Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India. He also joined King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, as a consultant cardiologist (locum).
